This website presents a collection of art works of students of the master studies Computer Music at the IEM, Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. The works were realised within the framework of the course Installation Art in spring 2020 held by Veronika Mayer, influenced by the measures of fighting COVID-19.

The corona crisis and social distancing abruptely changed the way of working actively with sound. The space inherent for sound installations – physical space, architectural space, sounding space, acoustic space – was gone. Concepts and project ideas therefore were conceived for the web and moved online: into the virtual space.

All installation works refer in their own special way and individual interpretation to the given topic CODES. in/human | un/natural and are presented for audible and visual exploration here.
